My wedding shoes came in the mail today and I love them! They are the perfect shade to go with my very ivory gown and have a tiny bit of sparkle atop two dainty bows. Sparkle and bows...what else does a girl need? I think I may have to get some of those heel things that keep the back of the shoes from slipping and also some of those flower things that go underneath the ball of your foot to make them worthy of gallivanting in for 6-8 hours straight.
Last night the Beau and I sat down to go through some music and decide some of the songs we want at our wedding. One item we are still stuck on- the garter toss song. I naively told him that the garter toss song could be totally his choice. Boy, was that a mistake! His choice- 'Sexual Healing'. He CAN NOT go up my dress to remove a garter in front of all my friends and family to that song. I think I would die of embarrassment! His second option was Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On'. Geeze...I guess if I have to pick the better of the two, it would be that one, but I'm still not sold. I think I'm just going to have to let go and let him do what he wants.
